My best guess: I think Love rides it out in Minnesota, then jumps to the Lakers in 2015. But I wouldn’t rule out the Celtics. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

That is quite a stockpile of draft picks the Celtics assembled. But I doubt the Wolves go that direction at this point. And I’m not even sure that Love would necessarily re-sign there to play with Rajon Rondo. The Celtics, minus all of those draft-pick assets, might not be a winning situation at all.
Centerpiece of the Timberwolves future should be Love and Rubio. Having to pick between the two, Rubio makes everyone else better. Rim protection has to be a priority for future years. Making the playoffs won’t happen without it.
